The Food and Drug Administration announced Monday that Saudi Arabia has approved the import of seafood products from 23 Taiwanese seafood companies.
The administration says that the Saudi Food and Drug Authority gave the green light to products from these companies at the end of November. Since then, the authority has officially made public the list of the 23 seafood companies on its official website.
Taiwan’s Food and Drug Administration says the list is only the beginning, and that Taiwan’s government will ask other Taiwanese seafood businesses if they are interested in exporting to the Middle Eastern country.
