Taiwan has been ranked third in the world on BERI’s index of profit opportunity recommendation.
BERI or Business Environment Risk Intelligence is a US-based firm that publishes reports on investment risks in April, August, and December of each year. The reports examine three indicators: operation risk, political risk, and remittance risk.
According to BERI’s latest report, Taiwan is the third-best destination for investment after Switzerland and Norway. Taiwan also shares the top spot in Asia in the report with South Korea.
Taiwan was ranked best in the world in the category of “remittance risk” and 14th in terms of “political risk”.
