The penguins at the national aquarium in Pingtung County are especially popular with visitors. For the first time though, the aquarium is bringing the experience with penguins up another notch starting February.
With yellow beaks, white bellies and black coattails, these creatures are the adorable penguins at Pingtung’s National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium. They are fun to watch through the glass walls of the aquarium as they swim around. But what if you could get even closer to them, and give them something to eat?
Beginning February, for the first time visitors will be able to feed the penguins. Adults and children alike can soon interact with the cute birds up close as they give them their food.
But this special experience will be limited to just a few people a day - only eight. That’s so we don’t overwhelm and disturb the precious penguins too much.
