China sent a record number of warplanes near Taiwan this week, testing nerves and prompting the airforce to scramble its jets. War expert Kerry Gershaneck, author of Political Warfare: Strategies for Combating China’s Plan to “Win Without Fighting”, weighs in on China’s tactics, who they’re aimed at, and how Taiwan can protect itself from China.
