Taiwan’s Consumer Protection Committee has published a new multilingual set of resources on its website tailored towards foreigners living in Taiwan.

Thursday’s announcement is the direct result of a conference held in September under the title ‘New Resident Consumer Rights’. That conference concluded that participating agencies should provide multilingual resources in order to provide better services for foreign residents.

The new web page includes resources in English, Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Burmese, and other languages. Users can access information covering topics as varied as tourism, consumer rights, and multi-level marketing.
