Taiwan has reported one new imported case of COVID-19. That brings the country’s total number of cases since the start of the pandemic to 928.

The new patient is a Taiwanese national in her twenties. She had initially tested positive for the virus while in the UK. She then recovered, and tested negative twice in the UK before arriving in Taiwan on January 15.

The patient then tested negative two more times during the mandatory quarantine period. Her positive result came on Friday, after she took a test at her own expense.

Meanwhile, the Central Epidemic Command Center says that the cluster outbreak at a hospital in Taoyuan City has officially come to an end. That’s after authorities tested more than 2,000 hospital staff to ensure that no case has gone undetected.

The Command Center also says that it is considering plans to establish hospitals dedicated exclusively to treating COVID-19 patients.
