Taiwan saw three new imported cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday. This brings the total number of COVID-19 cases Taiwan has recorded so far to 958.

One of the patients is a Taiwanese national who had been studying in Canada. He returned to Taiwan on February 26 after testing negative for COVID-19. However, he began to exhibit symptoms of COVID-19 on February 28, so he was tested again during quarantine. This new test came back positive on Wednesday.

A second patient is a Taiwanese national who had been in the US visiting relatives since November. She also returned on February 26 with a negative COVID-19 test. She did not have any symptoms until March 1 and was found to have COVID-19 after being tested again.

The third new patient is a Polish man who came to Taiwan for work on February 18. He also arrived with a negative COVID-19 test, but began having symptoms on March 1.
