Over 60% of Taiwanese companies say they would agree to give fully paid leave to employees who have just received the COVID-19 vaccine. That’s according to a recent survey conducted by Job Bank Yes123.

Some in Taiwan have reported feeling unwell soon after receiving the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, the only COVID-19 vaccine so far available in Taiwan.

There has been discussion about whether giving employees two days’ paid leave after getting the COVID-19 jab would encourage more people to get vaccinated. The leave would cover the day the employees get the shot and the day after.
