Health authorities reported seven new cases of COVID-19 on Friday, including three cases of domestic transmission. All three are linked to an outbreak centered on a quarantine hotel used by pilots.
The three domestic patients are all employees of the hotel. None had a history of recent travel abroad. After initial contact tracing, 18 people have been ordered into home quarantine.
The latest cases bring the total number of COVID-19 cases Taiwan has reported so far up to 1,128.
