Taiwan reported 214 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday. That includes 211 new domestic cases, and three imported cases. Health Minister Chen Shih-chung says that the lower numbers on Monday could be a result of fewer tests conducted over the weekend.
Chen has also announced that Level 3 restrictions (the second highest level) will continue for two more weeks, until June 28.
Of the 211 new local cases announced on Monday, 106 were men and 105 were women. They began experiencing symptoms between May 21 and June 6.
Most of the new cases on Monday are in greater Taipei. The totals (by city/county) are as follows:

Taoyuan City: 3
Penghu County: 3

One individual had a travel history to the early outbreak hotspot of Wanhua District in Taipei, while another four cases are still under investigation.
Taiwan also recorded three imported cases of COVID-19 on Monday. They include two people from the Philippines who recently arrived in Taiwan for work, and a Taiwanese man who recently returned from India.
