The Taipei Municipal Wanfang Hospital has come under fire for what some are calling a poorly-organized vaccination drive.
June 15 is the first day for senior citizens aged 85 and older in Taipei to get jabbed for COVID-19. The hospital’s 700 slots have long been fully booked, but some complained that the injection process was disorganized.
The elderly man waiting to get jabbed for COVID-19 is mad because he has been asked to change seats several times.
It’s the first day of the Taipei Municipal Wanfang Hospital’s vaccination drive and things are not running too smoothly. But the man is not the only one who complained about it.
A woman said she’s been waiting for a long time to get jabbed and she hasn’t been moved up in the line yet.
A senior citizen’s family member said they’ve been waiting for more than an hour. The man said they had to take a number upon arrival because the number assigned to them online didn’t count. The man said he is also concerned about the crowd gathered there.
Hospital deputy head Dai Yu-ting said the hospital texted senior citizens about the process, but the elderly have their own ideas. Well, this is only the first day for the hospital. Hopefully, things will get better.
