Taiwan reported 167 new domestic cases of COVID-19, three imported cases and 18 deaths on Wednesday.
The deceased include nine men and nine women, with the youngest patient in his thirties. They contracted the disease between May 7 and June 10 and died between June 6 and June 14.
Of the new domestic cases announced on Wednesday, 85 were men and 82 were women. They began experiencing symptoms between June 1 and June 15.

A specific source of transmission is known for 48 of the 52 domestic cases reported outside of Greater Taipei on Wednesday. While the source is unknown for four.
The three imported cases include two Filipino men in their 20s and a Taiwanese man in his 20s returning from the Philippines.
