Air New Zealand announced Wednesday that it will resume direct flights to Taiwan. The airline expects to start operating one monthly direct flight between Auckland and Taiwan’s Taoyuan International Airport beginning in August.
So far, Auckland to Taoyuan flights are planned for August 4, September 15, and October 6, with return flights to Auckland planned for August 5, September 16, and October 7.
The airline says that the Boeing 787 Dreamliners operating the route will be equipped with medical-grade air filtration systems to lower any risk of viral transmission, and that the planes will be regularly disinfected.
