The Cabinet has approved a draft proposal that would provide a fourth round of economic relief for those hurt by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The draft proposal, approved Thursday, lowers the income threshold workers need to fall below in order to apply for relief loans. It also includes subsidies for part-time workers who have labor insurance as well as loans for performing arts groups. Foreign nationals with permanent residency an tour group leaders without a fixed employer are also eligible for the benefits the program will provide.
In addition, the relief proposal would cancel all household electricity bills for the month of June and reduce June electricity bills for businesses and agricultural power users.
