Taiwan reported 130 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday, including 129 local cases and one imported case.
The addition of six new fatalities from the virus brings the death toll from the beginning of the pandemic to 605. The deceased include five men and one woman.
Of the 129 new local cases announced on Thursday, 64 were men and 65 were women. They began experiencing symptoms between June 4 and June 23.

Taoyuan City: 7
Pingtung County: 6
Kaohsiung City: 6
Miaoli County: 5
Hsinchu County: 5
Nantou County: 2
As for the 40 newly recorded cases outside of the Greater Taipei area, officials say that they know the source of transmission for 38 cases, while the source is unknown for two.
