Taiwan’s Latisha Chan is playing on two doubles teams at Wimbledon and it’s been all wins for her so far.
Chan and partner Ivan Dodig of Croatia have made it into the third round of Wimbledon’s mixed doubles. That’s after defeating Aisam-Ul-Haq Qureshi of Pakistan and Nadiia Kichenok of Ukraine in two close sets: 7-6 (7-5), 6-4 on Tuesday.
Chan and Dodig are seeded sixth at Wimbledon. They’ll face John Peers of Australia and Shuai Zhang of China for a spot in the quarterfinals.
Chan also made it to the quarterfinals in women’s doubles with her sister Chan Hao-ching as her partner. They play against American Caroline Dolehide and Australian Storm Sanders in the quarterfinals later Wednesday.
Taiwan’s Hsieh Su-wei will be playing in the women’s doubles quarterfinals with her partner Belgian Elise Mertens later Wednesday.
Hsieh and Mertens are seeded third at Wimbledon while the Chan sisters are seeded seventh.
