Taiwan’s tourist attractions are getting ready to reopen. They’ve been closed for two months due to COVID-19. Although Level 3 COVID alert will continue for another two weeks until July 26, the rules are set to ease a little bit on Tuesday.
These marine creatures have been on vacation for the past two months… that’s because their home at the National Museum of Marine Biology has been closed to visitors. But now, it’s reopening, with some small changes. The aquarium says people will have to book their visits in advance online, and they will only have 30 minutes to look around. Each section in the aquarium will only have one entrance and one exit, in order to control the flow of people.
Workers at an amusement park in Kaohsiung City are up early disinfecting park grounds, getting ready for a maximum of 1,500 guests on Tuesday. Only the outdoor attractions will open… Indoor attractions will stay closed. Also, the ticketing process is contact-free: you purchase them online and then scan QR codes.
Other attractions are limiting parking as a form of crowd control.
While the rules may vary from place to place, the goal is the same: finding ways to open things back up, while keeping a lid on COVID-19.
