Taiwan reported 28 new local cases of COVID-19, one imported case and six deaths on Tuesday.
The addition of six more deaths from the virus brings the death toll from the beginning of the pandemic to 747. The deceased include four men and two women aged between 60 - 90. They were confirmed with the disease between May 16-June 19 and died between July 4 - July 12.
Of the 28 new local cases announced on Tuesday, 18 are men and 10 are women.

The one imported case of COVID-19 reported on Tuesday is a Taiwanese man returning from Indonesia.
Of those who contracted COVID-19 between May 11 to July 11, 84.7% have recovered.
