A staff member at Taiwan’s representative office in Russia has tested positive for COVID-19. This is the tenth office employee to test positive for COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic.
The foreign ministry says that the employee tested positive on Monday, and is now undergoing a 14 day quarantine period in compliance with local pandemic-prevention regulations.
All people who have recently been in contact with the employee have received PCR tests, all of which have come back negative. The representative office has now finished work to disinfect its premises.
