The sheep working at Qingjing Farm in the central county of Nantou have gone back to work, now that the farm is open to the public again. That’s after the government eased a semi-lockdown as the number of new cases of COVID-19 reported each day continues to fall.
Qingjing Farm in Nantou County has always been a popular tourist attraction, with the sheep there being an especially big draw.
After a break brought on by government COVID-19 restrictions, the sheep are now back at work entertaining tourists. Two days before the reopening of the farm, workers were busy giving them some retraining. That’s because the animal seemed to lose their way and couldn’t even find their workplace after such a long vacation!
In the past, the sheep moved right on the road. But maybe because they haven’t been working for two months, they lost their way and turned left.
A farm worker says the sheep used to turn right every day, without guidance.
Fortunately, after two days of re-training, the sheep have been able to relearn their path to work, and they are now ready to welcome the return of visitors.
