Taiwan reported 15 new domestic cases of COVID-19, three imported cases and four deaths on Sunday.

Health Minister Chen Shih-chung said the outbreak is being contained very well. Taiwan’s current Level 3 restrictions will be applied through July 26. Officials have said Taiwan is preparing to move to Level 2 restrictions, dependent on how the outbreak continues.

The Sunday totals (by city/county) are as follows:

New Taipei City: 7

Taipei City: 5

Taoyuan City: 3

Of the deceased, three are men and one is a woman. They were aged between 40 to 90 years old and contracted the disease between May 26-June 13.

The three imported cases were arriving from the United States, Spain and the United Kingdom.

Of the cases contracted between May 11 to July 16, over 86% have recovered.
