Taiwan reported 12 new domestic cases of COVID-19 on Sunday. There was also one imported case and no deaths reported.
Case numbers have been declining steadily since the recent outbreak broke out in May and Taiwan is getting ready to loosen restrictions on July 27.
Only the Greater Taipei area saw reported cases on Sunday: Taipei had seven cases while New Taipei City had five cases.
Taiwan also recorded one imported case of COVID-19 on Sunday, a Taiwanese woman returning from Myanmar.
Of the cases contracted between May 11 - July 23, 87.6% have recovered.
Taiwan has seen a total of 15,571 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 786 deaths.
