Taiwan reported 18 new domestic cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday and no deaths. There were also two imported cases.
The breakdown by city and county of the local cases reported on Wednesday are as follows:
New Taipei City: 8
Taipei City: 6
Taoyuan City: 3
Kaohsiung City: 1
The imported cases were two Taiwanese citizens returning from Indonesia and the United States.
Taiwan has seen 15,619 confirmed COVID-19 cases and 787 deaths since the pandemic began.
Of the patients who fell ill between May 11 - July 26, 88.2% have recovered.
