Taiwan’s king of the pommel horse gears up for Olympic final
Taiwan’s king of the pommel horse, Lee Chih-kai, is still at over in Tokyo, gearing up for the Olympic Men’s Pommel Horse Final on Sunday.

Taiwan’s king of the pommel horse is still at over in Tokyo, gearing up for the Olympic Men’s Pommel Horse Final on Sunday.

That’s despite a disappointing performance during the Men’s All Around Final event on Wednesday, during which he slipped twice during the pommel horse event, falling off entirely at one point and injuring his arm. Lee finished 21st of 24, with a total score of 80.699.

Afterwards, Lee’s coach took to Facebook to let Lee’s fans know that Lee is not seriously hurt, and that medics are taking good care of him. The coach also said that for Lee, the Pommel Horse Final event on Sunday is the truly important one. It remains to be seen if one of Taiwan’s best gymnasts will get his groove back before the final in the event that’s become known as his specialty.
