Taiwan reported 18 new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. That includes 16 new domestic cases and two imported cases. There were no deaths reported.
Only two of the new local cases tested positive while outside of quarantine.
Of the 16 new local cases announced on Thursday, 13 were men and three were women. They began experiencing symptoms between July 25 and July 28.

As for the source of the 16 local cases announced on Thursday, a specific source of transmission is known for 14 cases, and the source is unknown for two.
Taiwan also recorded two imported cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. They include one traveler from the United States and one from Cambodia.
