Pan Cheng-tsung won Taiwan's first Olympic medal in golf on Sunday. He won a bronze medal after a seven-way playoff.
Pan finished in a shared third place after four days in the men's competition on Sunday. He then won the playoff for the bronze medal on the fourth hole.
Taiwan has won nine medals at the Tokyo Olympics, a national record, and is set to win one more as badminton star Tai Tzu-ying plays in the finals on Sunday.
