COVID-19 (08/02): Taiwan reports 14 more cases, no deaths

Taiwan reported 14 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday. That includes 12 new domestic cases and two imported cases. There were no new deaths.

Of the 12 new local cases announced on Monday, six tested positive while in quarantine. Ten of the cases are men and two are women. They began experiencing symptoms between July 29 and July 31.
 
The Monday totals (by city/county) are as follows: 

Taoyuan City: 5
New Taipei City: 3
Taipei City: 2
Keelung City: 1
Kaohsiung City: 1

As for the source of the 12 local cases announced on Monday, a specific source of transmission is known for nine cases, and the source is unknown for three.

Taiwan also recorded two imported cases of COVID-19 on Monday. They include one traveler from Thailand and one from the United States.
