Taiwan reported eleven new cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. That includes six new domestic cases and five imported cases. There were no new deaths reported.
Of the six new local cases announced on Thursday, two tested positive while in quarantine. Four were men and two were women. They began experiencing symptoms between July 23 and August 4.

As for the source of the six local cases announced on Thursday, a specific source of transmission is known for two cases, the source is unknown for three, and one case is still under investigation.
Taiwan also recorded five imported cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. They include travelers from Nigeria, South Africa, and the United States.
