Taiwan reported seven new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday. That includes four new domestic cases and three imported cases. There were also three deaths.
The Sunday totals (by city/county) are as follows:
Taipei City: 2
New Taipei City: 1
Taoyuan City: 1
A source is known for three of the cases while the other is still being traced.
The three deaths include two men and one woman aged between 50 and 90 years old.
Taiwan also recorded three imported cases of COVID-19 who were persons traveling from Malaysia, Turkey and the United States.
Taiwan has a total of 15,782 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 809 deaths. Of the cases of COVID-19 contracted between May 11 and
August 6, 89.7% have recovered.
