Taiwan reported 10 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday. That includes eight new domestic cases and two imported cases. There were no deaths from the virus.
Of the eight new local cases announced on Monday, three were men and five were women. Six tested positive while in quarantine. The new local cases began experiencing symptoms between August 10 and August 15.

As for the source of the eight local cases announced on Monday, a specific source of transmission is known for six cases, and the source is unknown for two.
Taiwan also recorded two imported cases of COVID-19 on Monday. They include travelers from the United States and Ghana.
