Taiwan’s central bank has signed a cooperation agreement with the central bank of Paraguay, Taiwan’s sole South American ally.
Central Bank Governor Yang Chin-long signed the agreement along with the president and general manager of Paraguay’s central bank on Tuesday.
Under this agreement, representatives of the two central banks will undertake investigatory visits to one another. The two banks will also further exchanges by conducting joint research into special projects and sharing information and experience.
