Taiwan reported zero local cases and deaths related to COVID-19 on Saturday, and there was one imported case that had arrived from the United States.
Taiwan has seen daily case numbers mostly in the single digits in the past three weeks. Attention however has been given to recent breakthrough cases. On Friday, two vaccinated EVA pilots were confirmed to have COVID-19. They both were vaccinated with AstraZeneca.
Of the 14,807 COVID-19 cases since May 11, 93% have recovered.
