Taiwan reported seven new local cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday. The country also reported two more imported cases among people arriving in Taiwan. No deaths were reported.
Of the seven new local cases announced on Wednesday, two were men and five were women. None were in quarantine when they tested positive. They began experiencing symptoms from August 27 to September 7.

Taiwan also recorded two imported cases of COVID-19 on Wednesday. They include travelers from Egypt and the UK.
