Just under half a million AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine doses are set to arrive in Taiwan on Friday afternoon. That’s the word from the Central Epidemic Command Center on Friday.
The command center says that the shipment of 458,000 doses is part of ten million doses ordered by Taiwan’s government last year. The vaccine doses are scheduled to arrive at 3:40 pm on Friday.
With the latest shipment, Taiwan will have received a total of 3,720,700 AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine doses from the pharmaceutical company. That is just over a third of Taiwan’s total order from AstraZeneca.
