Taiwan reported no new local cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. The country also reported nine more imported cases among people arriving in Taiwan. There were no deaths reported.
It is the second time in three days that Taiwan has reported no new local cases of COVID-19.
The nine imported cases of COVID-19 on Thursday include travelers from Indonesia, United Arab Emirates, Vietnam, the Philippines, Austria, India, and Kenya.
To date, Taiwan has recorded 16,168 cases of COVID-19, including 1,536 imported cases and 14,578 local cases. A total of 841 people in Taiwan have died from the disease.
