Taiwan reported no new local cases of COVID-19 on Thursday. The country also reported seven more imported cases among people arriving in Taiwan. There were no deaths reported.
The seven imported cases on Thursday include travelers from Indonesia, the United States, Denmark, the Philippines, Eswatini, and Cambodia.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Taiwan has recorded a total of 16,223 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Of those, 14,581 are local cases, and 1,588 are imported. Taiwan has also recorded a total of 842 deaths from COVID-19.
Right now, 55.71% of Taiwan’s population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
