Taiwan reported no new local cases of COVID-19 on Friday. The country also reported eleven more imported cases among people arriving in Taiwan.
The addition of one more death from the virus brings the death toll from the beginning of the pandemic to 843. The deceased was a woman in her sixties with pre-existing health conditions.
Taiwan also recorded eleven imported cases of COVID-19 on Friday. They include travelers from the United States, Honduras, Japan, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Cambodia.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Taiwan has reported 16,234 cases of COVID-19. That includes 1,599 imported cases and 14,581 local cases.
