Taiwan saw zero local COVID-19 cases and deaths on Sunday. It also saw six imported cases.
The imported cases were from Malaysia, the US, Mongolia, the UK and Myanmar.
Taiwan has seen a total of 16,250 COVID-19 cases and 843 deaths.
On October 5, people in the vast outdoors will not be required to wear a mask where social distancing is possible. This includes open fields, mountain and beach areas.
