Taiwan reported no new local cases of COVID-19 on Monday. The country also reported five more imported cases among people arriving in Taiwan.
With no new deaths from the virus, the death toll from the beginning of the pandemic remains at 847.
The five imported cases of COVID-19 reported on Monday include travelers from Ukraine, Myanmar, Indonesia, and Nepal. All of the travelers arrived last Friday.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Taiwan has reported a total of 16,417 cases of COVID-19. That includes 1,774 imported cases and 14,589 domestic cases.
