Every year, people scramble to book overnight stays at Wuling Farm in Taiwan’s central mountainous region for the month of February. This year, it took only five minutes for the farm to run out of rooms.
If you’re looking to book an overnight stay in Central Taiwan’s Wuling Farm for cherry blossom season, then you’re out of luck. The phone lines at this recreational facility have been ringing non-stop, and employees are all hands on deck.
The farm is well-known for its cherry blossom season, which takes place in February. Every year, rooms sell out quickly. This year, the farm opened up for bookings at 8:30am, November 1. Within 5 minutes, all 1,972 room reservations were snatched up.
However, people who were boxed out of this round of reservations still have one more chance to spend cherry blossom season at Wuling Farm. Reservations for the farm’s camping spots will open up on December 1.
Since there are still heavy restrictions in place for international travel, people in Taiwan are looking to travel domestically. With the country coming out of a recent soft lockdown, people are even more antsy to get outside.
Cherry blossom season might be the most popular time to visit Wuling Farm, but it’s not the only reason to visit. Farm administrators assure people that the farm is well worth a visit, all year round.
