Taiwan reported no new locally-transmitted COVID-19 cases or related deaths on Wednesday. However, the country tallied eight more imported cases among people arriving in Taiwan.
The country’s current total caseload stands at 16,609 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 848 related deaths.
The eight imported cases of COVID-19 are five men and three women ranging between the ages of 10 to 50. They include travelers from Indonesia, Canada, and the US.
