Taiwan reported no new local cases of COVID-19 and no deaths on Thursday. The country also reported seventeen more imported cases among people arriving in Taiwan.
Of the seventeen new imported cases announced on Thursday, sixteen were men and one was a woman. They arrived in Taiwan from the US, Poland, the Philippines, Indonesia, Myanmar, the United Arab Emirates, Malaysia, Vietnam, the UK, and Italy. They arrived between November 17 and 30.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Taiwan has reported a total of 16,626 cases of COVID-19. That includes 1,982 imported cases and 14,590 domestic cases. Taiwan has also reported a total of 848 deaths from COVID-19.
