[The highest-level Slovakian visit since 2003]
Not one, not two, but 43 Slovakians are in Taiwan to expand ties. The delegation includes 18 senior government officials and 25 businesspeople. This week, we spoke to Slovakian MEP Ivan Štefanec about why the EU country doesn’t worry about stepping on China’s toes with this trip. Natalie Tso also speaks with EU-China expert Professor ZsuZsa Ferenczy about what these high level visits mean for the EU’s support of Taiwan.
