Taiwan reported no new locally-transmitted COVID-19 cases on Wednesday. However, the country tallied seven more imported cases among people arriving in Taiwan and one more COVID-19 related death.
The deceased is a Taiwanese man in his 50’s. He was confirmed with COVID-19 in early June.
The country’s current total caseload stands at 16,759 confirmed COVID-19 cases, with 849 related deaths.
The seven imported cases of COVID-19 are six men and one woman ranging between the ages of 10 to 50. They include travelers from the Philippines, Australia, Indonesia, and the US.
