The Taiwan Hong Kong Association (THKA) has initiated a plan to help Hong Kongers living in Taiwan thrive as entrepreneurs.  The association made this announcement on Tuesday, and said it hopes this act will also strengthen cultural ties between the two countries.

The association says it hopes to help more Hong Kongers and their small businesses get settled in Taiwan. The plan involves offering special coupons or products to people who sponsor these Hong Kong businesses, and the association hopes this will draw more attention to the stores and young talent coming to Taiwan from Hong Kong.

The association says that Taiwan and Hong Kong share similar goals, and so supporting one another creates a better environment for both countries. Therefore, THKA also hopes that experienced entrepreneurs can reach out to these new Hong Kong businesses and offer helpful advice.

THKA President Sang Pu says that over 30 businesses have already joined this initiative and this plan will make it easier for Hong Kongers to adjust to their new lives in Taiwan. Sang says he hopes that not only stores run by Hong Kongers will support this initiative, but also other local businesses in Taiwan that want to stand with Hong Kong.
