Taiwan reported fifteen new local cases of COVID-19 on Saturday. Health authorities also reported 33 more imported cases among people arriving in Taiwan.
There were no deaths reported.
Of the new domestic cases, 13 tested positive after they were listed as contacts of confirmed cases. These 13 cases were linked to known clusters in Taoyuan, Kaohsiung and Yilan County.
Taiwan also recorded 33 imported cases of COVID-19 on Saturday. Among them, 9 tested positive upon entry into Taiwan, while 24 tested positive while in government-mandated quarantine. The imported cases include travelers arriving from the US, the UAE, Singapore, Australia, Japan, Mexico, Vietnam, China, and the Netherlands
