Taiwan’s International Cooperation and Development Fund (ICDF) has begun accepting applications for its yearly scholarship program, which aims to attract foreign students to come study in Taiwan. The ICDF launched the study program in 1998 and it has so far given out 2,619 scholarships. Scholarships are offered to students from countries friendly with Taiwan.
This year, the ICDF is offering 200 higher-education scholarships for undergraduate, graduate, and Ph.D. programs around Taiwan. Applicants can choose from a wide range of disciplines when applying.
The ICDF says this year, due to COVID-19, it will be offering a remote learning master’s program for applicants. ICDF Deputy Secretary General Stephen Lee says that the remote learning initiative will offer applicants more flexibility.
Applications are available on its website and the deadline to submit one is March 15.
