King Felipe VI of Spain has tested positive for COVID-19, days after attending the Honduran presidential inauguration alongside Taiwan Vice President Lai Ching-te. Spain’s Royal Palace says that the king has mild symptoms of the disease and is in good health.

In late January, Felipe attended the inauguration ceremony of Honduran President Xiomara Castro, and met with Castro before the event. Castro tested positive for COVID-19 on Sunday.

Taiwan Vice President Lai Ching-te also attended the ceremony and met with Castro. The Presidential Office says Lai tested negative for the virus after taking a rapid test on Wednesday.

President Tsai Ing-wen has asked Foreign Minister Joseph Wu and Taiwan’s representative office in Spain to wish the king a speedy recovery.
