Taiwanese mobile internet users are enjoying increasingly faster download speeds compared to the rest of the world. That’s according to a new report by Opensignal, an independent mobile analytics company.
According to Opensignal, Taiwan ties with Lithuania for 15th place among 100 countries for “download speed experience”. In 2019, Taiwan ranked 20th in the world. The report says mobile internet users in Taiwan now enjoy speeds of 44.8Mb per second, up from 26.6Mb three years ago.
Taiwan also came joint 7th with Japan in Opensignal’s rankings for “games experience”.
South Korea topped the table for both download speed experience and games experience.
