Taiwan’s foreign ministry says that nine Taiwanese nationals remain in Ukraine. Seven are in the Ukrainian capital Kyiv, one is in Odessa, and one in Lviv. The foreign ministry says that officials working at Taiwan’s representative office in Russia and the Taiwan Trade Center in Kyiv are maintaining contact with Taiwanese still in Ukraine.
The foreign ministry says that it evacuated Taiwanese in Ukraine to Poland on February 24. It says that it chartered a second vehicle which evacuated more Taiwanese citizens after that.
Taiwan’s foreign ministry says that it advises against any and all travel to Ukraine. It also says that it is urging the remaining Taiwanese citizens in Ukraine to leave the country as soon as possible.
